The dewdrop pictures I took this time around aren't nearly as good as the ones I took last year, at least not in my opinion, but I like how there's more than just drops in this one.

We are entertained now by the goldfinches outside the window, since Cindy has moved the thistle seed feeder. The color of the males is awesomely bright, especially when they are hanging out in the sunshine.

They grow overnight

If I could watch them, I do believe I could see them grow and bloom. It's too bad they don't last longer, so we could enjoy them just a little bit more.

What a whirlwind couple of days - and now it's time to go home. But I think we will be back - probably sooner than we think.

Today, CMSgt Raphael Jackson was laid to rest with all the pomp and circumstance that should be afforded to someone who gave so much of himself to his family, his friends, and the country that he loved. Godspeed, Ray. You will be missed by so many...more than you will ever know.

The azaleas are in full bloom here in Virginia, and the colors are amazing. Every bush you see if totally covered in blossoms.
