Where are my beans??

Photo 365 + 306 - August 5

So the bean plants are huge and growing over their enclosure, but I have yet to see blossoms or actual beans growing. Seeing as this is August, I'm am not getting my hopes up for a stellar crop - not unless they get blooming and growing...like right now.

Loving my day lilies

Photo 365 + 305 - August 4

When I started redoing my gardens, the mere mention of day lilies would make me cringe. That probably goes back to when we first moved into this house, and the people who lived here prior used the wild variety as ground cover, and we pulled them out by the bagful. I have since learned that they come in so many colors and sizes, and I can hardly count how many different ones are planted around the house. This is one of my favorites.

Presenting...The Music Man

Photo 365 + 304 - August 3

Now that our kids are all gone, we have time and our hands, and the perfect opportunity to be able to share the accomplishments of our nieces and nephews. Tonight was no exception. Congratulations to Renee and Rebecca for their wonderful performances in The Music Man. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Rob and the boys are in from Kansas so we had most of a row cheering the girls on and enjoying the show

Looking hairy close up

Photo 365 + 302 - August 1

I'm not sure if they are spider webs, or just fuzz that got caught in the wind. But I sure seem to capture enough of it in my close up shots.
