I am going to need to make myself sit down and edit my photos if I want to keep this blog up to date. Otherwise I can see it getting completely out of hand. Like I said, I have some cool plugins for my Lightroom to help me with editing and just being creative, and the only way I'm going to get good at using them is to play. So this year will be dedicated to before and after shots. Maybe not every day, but I'm going to do my best to do it a lot!

2 Years Down!

What started out as a project to keep Dale up to date on what was going on at home during his deployment has now become a 2 year endeavor. I am pretty surprised that I've been able to keep everything up for this long, although I haven't been as good about posting every day like I should. Today's blast from the past is an old lava lamp - I'm pretty impressed that it's still working.

My ambition for this year is to try to do a little more post-production on my pictures before I post them. I'm not sure how well that will work, since I don't seem to find enough time every day to just post the raw photos. But I have some great post production software, and my goal for this year is to really work on using it, and figure out just some of what it can do. Happy 2nd Birthday to my blog!
