Dale is a pretty handy guy - he figured out how to fix the fish fountain so it spits again! It's amazing how much gunk can build up in such a short time...and he's such a whiz bang with motors. I sure missed that when he was gone.
My foot is only there as a point of reference - to show how big that ant hill really is on the side of the garage. I didn't hang around to find out how many were living there after I ran over it with the lawn mower.
I'm thinking I'm just going to fill my gardens with columbine - there are enough colors, shapes and sizes to be interesting! Although about the time I make that decision it will decide not to grow nearly as well as it does now.
The lilies of the valley are tiny, but they produce an amazing smell. They're right outside the fence, so it's hard to miss the aroma when you come up the back walk and in through the gate.
