We have had multiple frosts, and the temperature has been consistently in the 30s and 40s at night, but my flowers still continue to bloom. The Village compost pile is still open for another week or so, but I think I'll probably just be leaving them until the spring. I think I'll try to enjoy them for as long as they want to continue to bloom. My project for the weekend is to get the rest of the bulbs I picked up at Menards in the ground. I planted a bunch of them in the front yard today, and tomorrow I hope to get the rest of them in the walkway garden and the backyard garden fronting the garage. Not sure what I was thinking when I grabbed all of those packages...except how nice they would look when they bloomed in the spring. That work aspect just gets forgotten in the excitement I guess.
And here is Joey trying to beat me in Words with Friends...so far in the first game I'm ahead, but we have another game started so we will wait and see how that one ends up.
