Photo 183 - March 24
Our last day in Hawaii started with an 8:00 a.m. whale watch cruise. This is one of those money-back kinds of things - if you do not see whales they offer you a free opportunity to get out there and try again. The problem was that we were leaving that night, so we were really hoping that we would see some whales, and we were not disappointed.
While it would have been really cool to see one breach and come all the way out of the water, we were treated to some blows, and a couple tail slaps and fins poking out of the water. I was pretty excited to see that my tail picture was pretty much the same as the professional photographer on board - he just had a bigger lens.
