It's ladies night for volleyball, that is. The ladies indoor league finally started tonight! That's the night Laura and I have our mother-daughter bonding time. This season should be fun - our team keeps getting younger and younger, which is definitely not a bad thing. The young legs can back up the "older" legs. Tonight was just practice, and we start the real thing next Wednesday. And sweet Laura surprised me with a birthday cake tonight - french vanilla with raspberry and lemon filling and cream cheese frosting - and the girls all sang. I think even Bill (our referee) sang. All in all it was a fun night.
