The only downfall I've had for my bird shooting lately is that I've had to shoot through a window. It was dreary and raining today, and these are not vibrantly colored birds, but I think something is still lost. There was a blue jay on the feeder this morning, but he wasn't inclined to sit long enough for me to get the camera up and take a shot. One of these days I'll have to set up the tripod and use the remote trigger and see what I can get.
