Photo 15 - October 8
What a beautiful day for soccer today! We are definitely seeing Indian summer in Wisconsin. The temperature today was in the high 70s/low 80s. I remember quite a few soccer games shivering in the cold in October, so this was a very pleasant October game to sit through. Rebecca was my target today, at her 10:30a game on her home field. Her team kept up their undefeated record, and played a great game. Bec popped a great shot off the crossbar...next time it will be in the net!
It looks like there's going to be a little bit of a learning curve with sports and this new lens. I'm used to shooting sports with my prime lens and the aperture wide open to freeze the motion. This lens doesn't have quite the aperture of my 200mm, so I will have to play with it a little bit to get the results I want. But it sure does capture the close up action.
